Mimesis, Sacrifice, and Victimhood with Rey Chow. Chow is Andrew W. Mellon Professor of the Humanities at Brown University where she teaches in the departments of Comparative Literature, English, and Modern Culture and Media. Chow’s talk will be based on her latest book, The Age of the World Target: Self-Referentiality in War, Theory, and Comparative Work (2006, Duke UP).
